Seller Policy

Eligibility

To sell or rent on MyCameraBags, you must complete identity verification via Stripe Identity. Accounts that fail verification, are suspended, or have three or more active strikes are ineligible to list.

Listing Accuracy

Listings must accurately describe the item's condition, included accessories, and any known defects. Misleading listings may be removed and may result in a strike against your account.

Ownership

You may only list items you own or have legal authority to sell or rent. Listing stolen, counterfeit, or encumbered gear is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension and may be reported to law enforcement.

Pricing

All prices must be in USD and represent the full asking price. Hidden fees are not permitted. MyCameraBags charges a platform fee on each completed transaction.

Order Fulfillment

Sellers must ship or make available items within the timeframe stated in the listing. Repeated failure to fulfill orders may result in account suspension.

Payouts

Payouts are processed via Stripe Connect. New sellers have a 3-day payout hold. Transactions under dispute are held until the dispute is resolved. High-risk transactions may be held for up to 7 days. Suspended sellers cannot receive payouts.

Off-Platform Payments

Arranging payment outside MyCameraBags is a violation of seller policy. Sellers found soliciting off-platform payments will receive a strike and may be suspended.

Reviews and Ratings

Sellers are subject to buyer ratings after each completed transaction. Repeated low ratings may trigger a manual review of your seller account.
