Rental Policy

Renter Responsibilities

Renters are responsible for returning items in the same condition they were received. Any damage beyond normal wear must be reported immediately and may result in additional charges at the rental rate or replacement cost.

Return Deadlines

Items must be returned by the agreed rental end date. Late returns may incur additional daily charges at the rate agreed in the listing. Failure to return an item may result in reporting the item as stolen.

Damage and Loss

Renters are liable for any damage, loss, or theft of rented items during the rental period. Sellers may file a dispute within 7 days of return if damage is discovered. MyCameraBags may hold the renter's payout or payment to cover verified damage claims.

Cancellations

Cancellation policies are set by each seller and displayed in the listing. Renters should review the cancellation policy before booking. Platform fees are non-refundable.

Shipping and Handling

Sellers are responsible for insuring and packaging items for shipping. Renters are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed. Lost shipments during outbound delivery are the seller's responsibility; lost return shipments are the renter's responsibility.

Identity Verification Required

All renters must have a verified account to complete a rental booking. Renters with a suspended account may not book rentals.

Prohibited Use

Rented gear may not be sublet, used for illegal purposes, or taken outside agreed geographic boundaries without seller consent.
